Conservation of Kenya lions

Just in one decade nearly 90% of the African lion population has vanished. Now there's less then 20,000 remaining in only a few countries. The lion conservation fund(LCF) is committed to supporting  conservation and research initiatives to better understanding of lion behavior, ecology, and biology. Since the recent declines in lion populations, its important to study and protect these precious lions across the continent and across the world.  We need to study and observe these lions so that we can understand them better and use information to also better theirs and our enviroment and habitat. Here are some of the main initiatives Reduce Poaching and retribution killing, Better local Awareness and interest in conservation, vastly increase intelligence  about lions and other carnivores, Habitat restoration projects, and we also need to improve the rural poverty: employment, new schools, rural clinics. People need to become involved and work to reach sustainability and RESTORATION.
